Daniel Serrano

CEO and President

Daniel Serrano began his career in the U.S. Army where he served as a Recon Scout in Operation Desert Storm in Iraq. After being Honorably discharged, he worked as a federal officer with the U.S. Immigration & Naturalization Service where he later became a Federal Air Marshal with U.S. Homeland Security.

Daniel took his extensive knowledge into the private security sector. His vision is for One Shield Security to be the premier provider of security protection services. Daniel personally oversees all strategic planning, business development, consulting and investigation services. He also monitors all operational functions and field operations of One Shield Security and their clients.

Julie Avila

Operations Specialist

Julie Avila has years of leadership and service oriented experience. She works closely with the CEO overseeing all the daily management and field operations for the company. She is the helping hand of One Shield Security by assisting supervisors and helping them set goals and develop new programs and initiatives that allow the company to fulfill its vision and mission.

In this evolving challenging industry, Julie brings her communication, delegation, time management, project management skills to good use by providing leadership at all levels of the organizations.

Shakeda Currie

Operations Manager / Night Superverisor

Shakeda Currie handles all operational meetings to discuss issues, concerns, proactive and reactive scenarios. She oversees compliance of all company related standards, including guard performance. She monitors account activity for emergencies, performance issues, and client concerns. And stays on track of preparing status reports, in order to keep the executive staff informed of what is happening.

Karen Hernandez

Sales Account Manager

Karen Hernandez is responsible for management of sales and business relationships. She has years of experience developing long-term relationships with customers and over seeing sales. As a sales account manager, she works to statisfy customers needs and requests in a timely matter.
